"Don't say it…"
She hesitated as she looked at the familiar face.
"I do though…"
Her eyes threatened to overflow as she gazed upon her old friend, "I do too…"
"It's alright… I will be ok. And so will you"
They were the words of a best friend, a childhood confidante and perhaps the soul-mate we all search for but seldom find…
So they stood underneath the shade of the trees on that brilliant sun kissed afternoon, as the breezy summer air blew as carefree as always.
Yet their spirits hitched and snapped like strings of crippled kites that could never fly away into the forgetful blue… far from the conventions of the world.
The filtered sun rays peeked through the leaves and hit their faces as they gazed upon each other for what would perhaps be the last time in their lives…
She gently kissed her on the cheek and let her lips carelessly brush against the side of her small mouth as she smiled that old familiar smile.
A smile bittersweet, laced with tear stains, regret …and the pain of not knowing.
When she finally found the strength to turn around and leave, she watched her walk down to the end of the road …and slowly disappear to a place where her eyes could not follow her anymore.
It takes courage to confess your love at times and perhaps even more so to admit it to yourself. Yet time and tide waits for none… and they walk out of our lives leaving nothing but memories to cling on to… ~

The magic of a lovers kiss
How do you grow the ivory wings of an angel?
Someone has yet to discover it, and yet to tell.
I crave the beauty, the passion, the awe.
I want this rusted ice in my heart to thaw.
How do i take this barbed wire that digs into my skin,
reverse all order, and turn it into satin?
How do i protect a fortress with no walls?
When i have no weaponry at all.
The seams are all ripping
as my hope begins slipping
on the blood my heart's dripping
the axis is tipping,
and the world wont stop spinning.
Lies turn to ash in my mouth as I realize they're winning
frosted by ice, my warmth stolen away
I felt it was time, to slip aw

Blood and Thunder:Soft KittyII
Another tainted book
more blood mages

"Give me the vial Anders

"No, you'll get sick!" A flash of flame and two shades disintegrate
"We are going to die; I know the moves to take them down! Now give
me
the vial!" It was a last resort only, saved for the direst of circumstances. Never to be used unless there was certain death. These were the rules and as much as the mage didn't want to admit it
if he'd had to write a situation that deemed the use of the vial appropriate
this was the one he'd write.
"No, we can win without it." He would be stubborn to the very end

In Words of Love
In words of love
spoken softly, whispered near
Latin sounds sweetest
to my tender ears
Promises of love
caressed with such life
never fade, nor falter
nor fail to entice
In times of heartache
a kinder love song
would fill us with longing
and kill our alone
In words of love
spoken softy, whispered close
I'll die in the sound
of her I love most

I have been meaning to write a girl/girl pairing for a while now inspired by so many boy/boy pairings out there. I can’t really do boy/boy, so I did this instead and it turned out pretty well, I think…?
This piece is dedicated to and - two very dedicated cosplay artists! I loooovvveeess u guys ~ hope you will like it!
The italicized words and letters are meant for the second individual.
I have tried to keep it simple yet erm… brilliant? *preens self*
I have drawn a little from my own experience and the rest is just my creative genius! ^^
This is in no way related to any known person, in my knowledge at least.
Reading/Interpretation:
Sometimes the things that we look for the most are right in front of us…but we hardly notice or even pretend not to notice for the fear of being an outcast, and go on to live our lives being a stranger to ourselves…
The title 'Kites are meant to Fly' is directly related to a line in the text where their spirits/souls were compared to 'crippled kites' ~ as in, they have compromised on the 'live-ability' of life, and will forever walk the mundane path, incapacitated of their destiny to fly (living life to the fullest).
It was also partly inspired by the book/movie - 'The Kite-Runner' - where the two half brothers are often seen flying kites in the bleak landscape of Kabul (Afghanistan), which was later destined to be entrenched in war and extremism.~ again drawing ref. to the loss of freedom.
where her eyes could not follow her anymore - the final separation, where the distance between their hearts becomes too great for love to bridge...
all the reference to the sun and air and nature ~ is suggestive of how world goes on oblivious to the pain of human suffering (v.v. lit. - I knw...)

Wow. How deep and symbolic! Wonderfully written, really gives us two views of the story in different manners. ^^
